Review summary

Overall a very fun cruise with a wonderful itinerary! Would recommend and sail again

Embarkation

Incredibly easy. Doing everything ahead of time on the app saves so much time and hassle. One of the easiest embarkations I’ve experienced

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had on a cruise ship to date. Most of the food tasted great with only a handful of things that weren’t to my specific tastes. We especially enjoyed the free Mexican food buffet by the pool and the pizza from the cafe promenade! We also ate at Chops (2nd time) and Jamies (first time) and both were remarkable experiences. The only food related complaint I have is that the main dining room, while the food was tasty, took a very long time most nights. One night my party was in the dining room for dinner for 2 hours. The waitstaff did ask if we were going to see any of the shows so they could accomodate for time, hkwever we still missed some shows we wwre hoping to see due to dinnee taking longer than expected

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
(3.5) Activities on this cruise were very hit or miss. I did appreciate that many of the activities were included with no extra fee (water slide, flo rider, laser tag, ice skating lessons, rock climbing). I did pay extra for the escape room which my family and I enjoyed and would highly recommend! The bigger issue I had with activities was the structured activities, specifically the last 2 sea days of the cruise. There were a few occasions where I found myself not knowing what to do. Especially when I would decide to go to a trivia activity and it was swamped as it was one of the few things to do!

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Unfortunately, this ships stage shows did not hold up compared to other ships I’ve been on. Admittedly, I only made it to 3 of the 7 shows (see dining review), however the ones I did see left a lot to be desired. There was a show consisting of just two singers, no dancing or fancy stage tech to supplement, simply just a concert which was disappointing. The comedian also was not to my taste. The highlight of the entertainment was definitely the ice show! I loved it!! Another issue I had with the entertainment onboard was that every day, the shows started at a different time which was difficult for planning purposes.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Wonderful staff as always. I have no complaints :)

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Overall very clean ship. This is one of the older ships so some updates and refurbishments would benefit, however no complaints
