Review summary

Traveled with my wife, 4yo son, and the in-laws in a separate stateroom. We all had an amazing time. Plan on some extra expenses or pre-purchase the beverage and dining package.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Really smooth and quick. It took us about 25 minutes from parking to finishing our muster station on-board. Just make sure to arrive during your port arrival time to avoid possible delays.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room food was hit or miss, ranging from pretty good to not so good at all. The venue, however, was beautiful. Windjammers buffet seemed to have higher quality dishes and I found some winners in there. Chops and Izumi, both specialty restaurants (at an additional fee), were amazing and highly recommended. Hooked for lunch was just ok.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So many fun activities to partake in. This is definitely a strong suit of this ship with excellent entertainment and activities for the whole family, day or night, young and old.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice Skating show, live music, stage performances... all excellent.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Very attentive and engaging staff. My 4yo son loved it there and was begging to go back.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The crew are amazing and helpful. They made sure we got everything we needed and/or requested including an unexpected change to our port excursion to reservations at specialty dining venues. Loved the service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Easy to navigate around both on deck and to the venues. Sometimes difficult to catch an elevator, but the ship never felt super crowded despite being approx 500 short of full capacity.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bigger than I expected and really suited our needs. The beds are hard though.

Ship tip

Get ready for an amazing time. I highly recommend trying the specialty restaurants as the MDR food was not so great. Hit up the ice show and partake in as many activities as you'd like.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
They organized everything very well. Just a short line waiting to get scanned off the ship and through customs. Pro tip, if it's within your means hire a porter to expedite through customs and handle your bags. Worth every penny.
