Overall it was an enjoyable cruise. Did learn that deck 11 there is a section of it called the celerium which is adults only but it's not in the sun. So we never went in there only passed through there.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
We were delayed in barking because the in because there were a couple people who had not completed their safety reviews. They need to find a better way to ensure everybody completes their safety reviews in a timely manner so there's not a delay
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
You had to make reservations even though we had my time dining so we were not able to eat in the main dining room the 1st 2 nights. That made us eat in a restaurant so we had to pay for our food the 1st 2 nights. Although specialty restaurants had to have reservations plus it was excessively extra charging for for the food.
The night we did eat in the main dining room the food was OK. Service was OK.We were told we should've made reservations even though we had my time dining.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There were a lot of activities but they were really focused around families and children.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The live entertainment at the pool was OK bit was ok but they did not have a wide selection of music.. In order to to enjoy any of the shows you had to have made reservations so we were not able to attend any of the shows.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward Harry was awesome. The bartenders at coconut lime were great. The staff all seemed very attentive
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very clean. It was always challenging to walk around because of the water and the potential slippage. Getting into the hot tub was always a danger because the steps were very slick.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The room was perfect. Great ocean view being upfront off the bow to see the ship as it moves. The room was spacious enough for the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable.
Ship tip
Make sure you make reservations for anything and everything you want to do. Make the reservations with the ship not a third party vendor or a travel agent.
Ship tip: Download the Royal Caribbean app to book your activities and dining. Although, you can make reservations by calling from your stateroom phone, everything is geared to use the app.
