Review summary

Overall we had a great time! No cruise is perfect, you’ll always run into a few glitches but you make the best of it. We’d sail this ship again but stay onboard while it’s in the bahamas. I wish they offered short cruises to other ports instead of Bahamas.

Embarkation

So easy to get on the ship. From the time we exited the shuttle and I had a drink in my hand was about 30 minutes!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was the best I’ve had on a cruise ship!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We used the solarium pool when most people were in port. I’m giving it only 4 stars because I think the area is to small for the amount of people on board. We couldn’t get near the pools while the ship was sailing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the magic show, ice skating show, and the comedian. Only problem we ran into was trying to pick what do because some things overlapped forcing us to miss one thing over another.

Children's Programs

We left the kids at home 😁

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Omar, our stateroom attendant was excellent. He called us by name the minute we arrived at our stateroom. Our A/C kept quitting but he’d get it fixed for us quickly!

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The layout was difficult. You couldn’t go from one end of the ship to another on each floor. You could only cross using certain levels. This required you to use the elevator (husband wears orthotics on both legs and can’t do stairs) which was very SLOW!! We spent a lot of time just waiting for elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
For junior suite (1154) the bathroom was tiny. It was not your typical JS bathroom, it was the size of a regular cabin bathroom. No outlets next to bed. Being a new stateroom that was added during the renovation I was expecting it to be nicer but already looked beat up. The bathroom and halls leading to our stateroom always smelled of mold.

Ship tip

Get to the pool early if you want a seat.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
We were key members and supposed to have a separate area for getting off the ship but they threw us into a regular line. The Key was not worth money.
