I'm staying at the Vegabond inn San Pedro. Has good reviews, not to pricey,not far from Port,free shuttle to Port (one way only) and you can park your car there too for $10 (compared to $20 at the port)..if needed.

We are staying at the Crown Plaza, San Pedro. We have stayed here before and liked it. It's right across from the Cruise Terminal and you can get parking included and shuttle to the port.

Our party ended up staying on the Long Beach side by the Carnivalport. we thought our hotel was in San Pedro, however if you have the time we just took an uber over to the port. without traffic about a 15 minute ride.
