if you get the invite then make a bid, it does no harm to place a cheeky bid. but remember if you bid on balcony you may get one with a restricted view. if your booked on an inside cabin I guess a view of any kind and a bit of outside space is worth it. I've bid on three separate cruises and been successful twice, only time I missed out was Anthem, Sept last year.

I know people who have a balcony but bidded for the auera premium suite but actually got YC ... I guess a cheeky bid from an inside to outside wud be great if u can get it

We booked a seaview cabin, bid the minimum amount for a balcony and got it a couple of days later. We didn’t bother with yacht club as we’ve done it before and the bid was for an inside yacht club. I think if we booked msc again we’d book the cheapest cabin and hope for an upgrade 😄
