Loved it. Would sail again with MSC. Highly recommend.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We heard later that some waited between 1-4 hours to embark - from the time our Uber dropped us off at port we were in our room in less than 1 hour. Embarkation process was well organized and the staff were great.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
MDR - overall very good. As with all ships there were hits and misses. The no sugar added desserts were all amazing. The pasta dishes were all good. The fish was a bit fishy. Enjoyed Breakfast lunch and dinner in the MDR. Buffet - overall good. Good variety and good quality food. The breakfast was good. The pizza was mind blowingly delicious. Only speciality restaurant we ate at was Hola Taco- great food. Did all you could eat deal and the basically brought 2 of everything for us to sample. The Sports Bar served Burgers, fries, wings, salads and nachos. Tried the wings - very good.

Madison Theatre

4 out of 5

With the exception of the Trail Blazer’s show all the others need to be seen. The final show is classical/operatic - not something I expected to enjoy but glad I saw it. The red headed lead singer in several of the shows really should not be the lead. Her voice is not that good. I hate saying this but she really lowered the overall show quality.

Onboard Activities

Trivia is always fun. Plenty of activities to choose from.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The quality of entertainment on this ship was spectacular. The talent was unbelievable. The Madison Theater shows were good. Except the Trail Blazer’s show. I’m sorry to say this show was a train wreck. The music and dancing just seemed off. And unfortunately the lead singer was just not suited for being the lead. She is not on the same talent level as the rest of the Madison crew. The Dueling Piano singers, the guy that played in the Brooklyn Cafe and the guy with the ponytail who sang in the atrium were all beyond amazing. Le Cabaret Rouge was the place to hang out. The performers were extremely talented. All the shows were amazing and should not be missed.

Le Cabaret Rouge

Completely amazing shows and talented performers. Great atmosphere and should not be missed from day 1.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters, the room steward the bartenders were all extremely attentive and went out of their way to make out cruise enjoyable. All staff members were excellent and we appreciated them all.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
By far the most beautiful ship I’ve sailed on. The attention to detail on this ship were remarkable. Plus the extra cleaning they did for COVID protocols was very extensive. The only draw back is the size of the bathrooms lol. Seriously small.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was spotless. There were 3 adults in our room and we had plenty of room and storage space. Good size balcony. Only drawback was the bathroom. Just tight

Disembarkation

Our disembarkation was flawless. I understand others had to wait. But we did not.
