Answer Question
Q: Good afternoon . I see a lot of people leave very little starts for embarkation. What time they they actually start boarding in your experience ? Do they really turn you away if you get there before the time they picked for you? I haven’t really cruised after Covid but before I always got there earlier and was practically one of the first onboard and they gave me a rather late check in time 😞

A: We spoke to a representative at MSC a couple of weeks ago and was told they stop boarding 2 hours before the ship leaves so they can prepare the ship for departure. Thank god we called and asked because had we not called, we were due to land at 2 pm... and probably would not arrived at the cruise terminal until 3:30 or 4:00, so we would have not been able to board. Sucks that we had to buy another set of airline tickets but now we know. Hope this helps. Good question though.See More

A: This changes with almost every sailing. However, from our opinions we’d say the ships are anywhere around 75%-90% capacity.
