No prepaying in the US. They’ll charge your room every day (or actually it seems every few days kind of randomly) for gratuities. MSC is its own weird thing.

Yes, you can prepay gratuities. You can also add a credit card when you check in online for charges onboard so you don't have to go to a kiosk onboard. We did both last time and all went smoothly.

Yes, you can absolutely prepay them if you wish. if you used a travel advisor they can quickly and easily do this for you. If you booked direct, simply call.

well the 2 time I Sailed with them they charged me the gratuities on-board account in the 2nd day mostly sea days

your ta can add them or call msc to add them. you can prepay.

I called MSC and had them include the gratuities. They call them hotel service charges. We did the same thing for our Seaside cruise last May.
