Review summary

Wonderful! Enough to do to keep from getting bored, but R&R if that’s your thing.

Embarkation

Yacht Club embarkation was a breeze.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
While I did stay mostly in the Yacht Club for meals (which were excellent), I did venture down to the Marketplace Buffet several times. Selection was good and quality of the food was good as well.

MSC Yacht Club Restaurant

5 out of 5

Every night at this restaurant (when we did eat here) was a treat. Always was to perfection with either something we’ve never had or something we knew all too well. The Tiramisu on the desert menu is one of the best I have ever eaten anywhere. Always light and fluffy and never too much of one ingredient.

Kaito Teppanyaki and Sushi Bar

5 out of 5

We got the 2 specialty restaurant package which included this restaurant. Be prepared! There will be a lot of food with this choice restaurant.

Butcher's Cut

5 out of 5

One of the best Filet Mignon’s I’ve ever had!

Onboard Activities

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Roberto (our butler) and James ( his assistant) did a phenomenal job of taking care of us. No task was too small or large for them to handle and always did so with a smile. A special shoutout to Nurul, one of the many Deck 20 wait staff that always ensured we had whatever drink we wanted/needed in a timely manner.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
While this was a mobility assessable cabin, the size of the cabin was at least twice the size of a normal Yacht Club cabin and the balcony was easily 3 times a large. Enough room for 2 loungers, 3 chairs and 2 tables and still had room for more.

Ship tip

If you can get into the Yacht club by either purchasing it or upgrading to it, do it. You will not be disappointed. The perks of Yacht Club make it worthwhile.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
What else needs to be said? It’s Cozumel! Absolutely beautiful and gorgeous sapphire blue waters. A divers dream!

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Great place to visit, but expensive as heck to live there (according to our tour guide driver). DON’T CATCH THE CHICKENS!!! (6 months in jail)

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
It’s Jamaica, mon! People are mostly friendly and the jerked chicken is always delicious!
