Review summary

On re joing the ship from our first stop a crew member lifted a bag from my wife w ho was in a wheelchair and cought her wrist which was badly strained. On another occasion when the gangway was unsuitable for a wheelchair my wife was thrown out of her chair and landed on the deck. Both times she ended up in the medical centre for xrays and bandages. No offer of compensation was made nor any concern expressed. .

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Good. Not a lot of choice in the na8n dining room but usualy something edible. The self service buffet was good with a good choice of food.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Did not use these facilities. Woukd have used the cinema but none of the staff knew what was on or where it was. We find it but it was shut and no info outside to say what was showing and when. Also the was no info in the daily bullitan. My wife used the hairdressers who charged for treatments she did not have.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Poor shows. Introduction was in multiple languages which took a very long time and then a magician playing with a bit of string which was not at all clever. Only one show was very good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters and cabin stewards were very good and could not do enough for you. The rest if the staff particularly the customer service desk were sometimes rude and were indifferent and very unhelpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
A very nice ship, one of the best we have been on. Kept very clean and tidy. Our cabin however was the smallest we gave ever had with very little storage space. We have cruised many times but never had such a small cabin.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin kept very clean but the smallest cabin we gave ever had.

Disembarkation

Very poor. We had paid extra to park in a disable space close to the ship only to find the ship docked at a different terminal to to the one we had left from. No one was told this was happening and we had to get a taxi to the embarkation terminal at a cost of £8.
