I had an amazing time! Except for a few hiccups, it was a great cruise. Ocean Cay Reserve made me book another MSC cruise this Summer but this time with family members!

The worse embarkation I’ve ever been apart of. It was the first turnover for the ship docking in Brooklyn and also the weather was horrible with heavy rain and wind. Hopefully in the next few weeks it will get better.

Food and Dining

Not too bad. The buffet was repetitive though. I only did one specialty dining and that was Tacos Cantina! It was soooo good and they have all you can eat for $18.99. The dining rooms were a hit or miss but overall not too bad.
Onboard Activities

It was some gaps in between activities especially for young/middle age folks like myself but overall I wasn’t bored. I’m a person that can just stare at the ocean all day but I was with someone who needed activities all day and she said it was lacking.
Entertainment

The DJs really couldn’t read the rooms at times. A lot of the same music was played. The theater shows were great! Awesome singing. The Carousel shows blew me out the water! So amazing! (That’s an extra charge though). The cruise staff entertainers were funny and really into it and made the entertainment so much better.

It was some unruly folks and the staff always had a smile.

The ship is beautiful! Also very clean, I never worried about that from staff, they kept the ship pretty.

Pack patience for the embarkation! It’s a new port so they are still getting the logistics together. Carousel shows and theater shows get booked up quick so within the first day, book them!
I did the hop on and off bus. This port was my least favorite just because it’s not walking distance to anything. You have to have transportation to somewhere. I love Miami though and been before but flew there.
