Review summary

MSC Meraviglia is a beautiful modern ship with a nice indoor Promenade. The MDR food is just Ok. The shows are good, but sadly there is no Cirque du Soleil at Sea production. MSC Ocean Cay private island is great for a beach day but it doesn’t have a pool or lazy river. This was our second MSC cruise and it was an Ok vacation, but It was not Wow or Super Fun. We like Royal WOW and Carnival FUN new ships. Yes, I know that MSC has the Yacht Club, but it’s too expensive, I better spend money wisely. We will probably (THIRD TIME'S A CHARM) try the new MSC World Europa or any MSC World Class ship when they sail from Miami or Port Canaveral, and Hopefully MSC will fix their phone customer service, Website and MSC Voyagers Rewards Club issues.

MDR food was Ok ( all basic, nothing Wow), Service was Great. Buffet was Ok (same everyday).

Onboard Activities

The Main Pool and Aqua Park are really nice. The fitness center is good but too small. The indoor Promenade with restaurants, shops and LED ceiling is really nice and great place for people watching.

Sadly, MSC Meraviglia didn’t have the Cirque du Soleil at Sea production. The Broadway Theatre shows: 1) Way and 2) Life is Magic, were really good, and 3) Born to Rock - was good. The Carousel Lounge OFF THE RECORD... ON THE ROCKS Uptown Funk TributeConcert was really good.

Service and Staff

Great service, they were understaffed because of Pandemic and tried their best. The ship had over 3,000 passengers (Spring Break) and employees were overwhelmed, they were not expecting that many passengers. I feel bad for the employees, I can’t believe that management didn’t hired more employees since the pandemic is now almost over and everything is going back to normal. Hopefully management will hire more people for the Summer.

Beautiful ship, modern and clean. It has a really nice indoor Promenade.

Cabin / Stateroom

Nice modern cabin with a balcony. Closet is small and with few drawers. The bathroom has a nice glass shower. The TV doesn’t have free on demand movies.

Ship tip

Enjoy the beach at MSC Ocean Cay, the cruise indoor Promenade, main pool and Aqua Park. If you have extra money go to the Specialty Restaurants.

Thanks for the review. I was on Meraviglia in January and was told the Cirque de Soliel had filed for bankruptcy during Covid and may be coming back onboard at some point.
