MSC has a good variety of live music every night, which I enjoy. The theater shows are entertaining - not your typical Broadway musical. The Elvis Show was my absolute favorite!! The Circus Show had so many interesting acts, like a juggler, dancers, twirler, trampolines, BMX bike rider, roller skaters, etc. I loved it!! The Cruise Director, Matias, was out and about - and very funny. Food is hit and miss in the Main Dining Room. And the buffet food is repeated pretty much every night, but I always find something to try. Pizza, salad, “Ethnic Corner” usually has something yummy, and desserts are my favorites! **I have enjoyed all the MSC ships I’ve been on and plan to continue cruising with them. **

Food and Dining

Buffet was fine for me for the whole 3-night cruise. (food as expected) Pizza is always delicious!! Salad bar was fresh and yummy. Beef stew was very tasty. Desserts were my favorite: carrot cake, chocolate crème brûlée, brownies, cake.
Didn’t end up going to Main Dining Room for any dinners. Nothing on the menu caught my eye. I did go for the sit-down breakfast one morning. Good service. They even brought me a hot chocolate!
Onboard Activities

I was traveling solo this time, so I mostly just watched people. But it looked like everyone was having fun participating in different activities like the hole-in-one contest, Mission Impossible, there were dance lessons and exercise sessions.
Entertainment

MSC ships always have such great live musicians in a bunch of different venues around their ships. I LOVED listening to ⭐️ “Soft Rock & Country” music with Zoran and Igor ⭐️
The MSC theater shows are right up my alley - this time my favorites were Elvis and The Circus. (Awesome performers and singers & dancers!!)
Service and Staff

My room steward, Angel, was delightful!! So smiley and cute. She did a great job.
Everyone I saw working around the ship was very nice and seemed happy to be there.
Ship Quality

This is a smaller, older ship - very similar layout to the Divina, which I loved! The staircases and Atrium are beautiful. The venues are good sizes to accommodate as many people that are expected.

MSC Magnifica Room 8075
Nice, big, spacious room. Comfy bed! Icy cold mini fridge.
Nice to have sunlight shining in through the window, even though the view was obstructed.
