Review summary

Good cruise, nice ship and friendly staff, and all inclusive drinks package well worth the cost.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation had a few issues, the gangway wasn’t working properly. But they kept us informed. The terminal staff started turning off all of the lights in the building before everyone had embarked.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was ok in the main buffets always plenty of it. The main restaurant for dining the food was superb as were the waiting staff.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My 10 year old daughter had fun in the kids club, and made friends with children from lots of countries.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Cabin staff were great, as were the waiters and bar staff, my only issue would be that there weren’t enough bar staff on shift. But that was ok really. The staff of the kids club were amazing and my daughter and her friends couldn’t speak higher of them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean ship and nice atmosphere

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great Cabin, just right for my 10 year old and Myself.

Ship tip

Get the drinks package.

Ports of call

Le Havre (Paris), France

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium

5 out of 5
I love Brugge, and this was the 5th time of visiting. I would never pay for an excursion to Brugge as you can do it on your own from Blankenburge for approx €3.50. Admittedly we paid for the shuttle to there but with more research I am sure I could have got there cheaper too.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

4 out of 5
Would have been great if we had docked there but we were approx 30 mins outside, however there was a free shuttle to Slonderdjik with is 5mins on train from Amsterdam Central and is under €5 return. We took the red bus and river crusie which were both excellent.

Hamburg, Germany

4 out of 5
Easy to disembark, caught the local bus from across the road, hop on hop off route 111 which went to the centre of Hamburg again only a few euros. We visited minitur wonderland, which is the largest model village in the world and well worth a visit but its popular and will take quite a few hours to get around too.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy to disembark, just waited until Colour was called and escorted to the stairs and disembarked. Luggage was waiting when we walked through the terminal.
