Review summary

Miami, Nassau, Ocean Cay. Nothing special. Ocean Cay was basically a desert island with awful food and horrible service.

Food was awful in restaurants as well as buffet. The only good thing was the pizza, which is basically I ate. Bar service was terrible and inattentive. We did have a few servers that warmed up after we tipped which made the experience a little better but overall the staff just didn’t seem to care and would congregate around the bar ignoring customers.

Onboard Activities

The activities were ok. We enjoyed the lido interactive games. Our daughter loved the kids club

This was one of the only highlights on our cruise from hell. Our daughter loved the activities and met lots of friends

Staff just seemed not to care about anything. The entertainment staff was ok we didn’t attend any shows

Again…meh. It is an older ship and the age was definitely starting to show. Room was very “worn”. Stains on the couch, dust and dingle berries in HVAC and around the tv and desk.

Thanks for the review. People either seem to love or hate MSC. I was on MSC for the first time in January and loved it. I thought the food and entertainment were comparable to or better other lines I have been on and that Ocean Cay was by far the best private island I’ve been to.
