Out of 8 cruises this was by far the worst. MSC is boring and cheap. You get little for what you spend. We better options.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Instructions to port not given. Had to figure it out. Easy to get on and off.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Hardly any options. You pay for drink package and get cheap drinks. Asked for multiple Bloody Mary’s which was tomato juice and Smirnoff. No celery, lime, olives. Everything was like this.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Unlike carnival which had tons to do we watched hgtv, food network, and discovery most of the sailing time. Almost nothing to do. Was so boring. The hot tubs were ok.

Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Staff was miserable and would admit it.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship was clean but overall average
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Nice room, spent plenty of time there.
Ship tip
Go with carnival for more to do or royal for luxury.
Completely agree with JT1962 observations. I've seen a few reviews regarding the MSC Divina in particular as it relates to the demeanor of the crew and how unhappy they seem. Since crews are an important part of any cruise, this can have a negative effect on your cruise experience. Sorry this issue impacted your cruise.
Thanks for the review. People either love or hate MSC. Many choose the cheapest fare option and don’t realize what is not included. Those that need constant entertainment or an amusement park on the ship probably won’t enjoy it. Those that are happy on a deck chair watching the ocean go by, reading a book or taking a nap can find great value with MSC.
