I would recommend anyone thinking of cruising MSC to rethink. Pay a little extra and cruise on carnival,Royal,NCL. By the time MSC gets done Nickel and diming you for everything it is cheaper to cruise the other lines.

Embarkation itself was flawless,but as soon as you board ship you are surrounded by MSC staff hounding you to buy drink packages and excursions. They do not take no for a answer they follow you and keep on you the whole cruise.

Main dining room was horrible,you could only get steak if you paid $30+ extra. Buffet was eatable,but pretty much lived on buffet pizza and ceaser salads all week.

Not sure who booked entertainment but "one man's tribute to the beetles and a Ed Sheeran tribute band is all that was offered.

Ship was very clean,but poor design and layout. Nothing flowed like it should.
Cabin / Stateroom

Tiny tiny balcony cabin,only one person could move around room at a time. No couch,no table and Balcony was so small you have to sit sideways so you don't hit knees on glass.
Total cluster. We did self assist off ship so we could get on the road early. As we were getting off ship they scan sign and sail cards,they had huge computer glitch that said everyone owed money as their cards were scanned this starts a huge jam at the door where everyone is piling up and pushing. We make it back inside to customer service desk and they say no balance owed we can leave. Get back through crowd which still hasn't moved and tell security at door that we were told we could leave,he says "no". So we get a customer service rep to come to door and she says "we can leave. He still say "no". Two couples in front of us start threatening guy with physical violence because he is detaining everyone against their will. Absolutely horrible way to end a cruise.
It is same,it was a review thing I got from cruise line .com and for some reason it posted here as well and can't figure out how to delete because it isn't an account here 🤷♂️
