Review summary

This was my first cruise in 2015 had seen some bad reviews about food and staff so I was worried, but not one problem. Loved the cruise everything was done to the best of the staffs ability. We were fortunate enough to have one of the corner balconies at the very top of the ship so it was amazing. The ship was immaculate never found a fault. I seen people had problems with the food but this was due to it being a European ship with European food, and most of the reviews were from American websites. (Just from my research correct me if I am wrong). Was a great cruise and a great experience! Would go again!

We ate at the Sports Bar three times and the food was excellent every time. And the food everywhere else we ate was decent to delicious, as well.

It a beautiful ship. For the most part the service is outstanding and the staff have a willingness to please. However, the food has been an issue on both cruises on the DIVINA. The Specialty Restaurant are great but they cost extra money and the regular dining rooms, even the Yacht Club dining room are awful. Food is either always served cold. Fish dishes are cold and dry. Pizza serves cold on an Italian ship? Should never happen. The Yacht Club is dead. Would never do it again. I'd use the money to buy specialty dining expert and to make sure We could get drinks everywhere on the ship. Yacht Club dinning room, Le Muse, was good for breakfast and lunch, dinner horrible. Forced us to buy the specialty dining. And the Sports Bar food....YUCK. They wouldn't serve it at McDonald's or Burger King. Booked in advance for new ship Seaside and if food isn't significantly better, MSC will unfortunately, lose our loyalty. I hope they're listening

The food issues I had were more than just being European. I was served peas that were hard-really hard- and an egg pasta that was so salty it was inedible. I looked past the brown gravy on my ravioli and the lack of grits because that is just Europe. My other main complaint was the lack of working hand sanitizer machines. I got really sick as I was exiting the ship. I overlooked that they gave away our stateroom and didn't reroute our luggage to the new one. We knew our balcony view was to be obstructed. The shows are really good except I wouldn't take kids to the French show lest they get an eyeful. We loved the drink coupons, pizza, gelato, and crystal stairs. I was glad I was standing there when a young woman came flying past me, her very high heel having slipped on the smooth crystal. I reached out and snatched her mid-flight, but she didn't speak enough English to thank me for saving her neck. The Divina is beautiful and multicultural and the staff are fun and happy and helpful.

Yes but I think a lot of problems were just small ones, they weren't massive ones. And I never ran into any problems people had said in their reviews. It's a fantastic ship and I hope you have a great cruise :)

I am glad to hear that. I've also read many not soo good reviews and I am going on it in July. So my family decided to take a chance and make our own reviews. Let's be positive.
