Review summary
I've been on 20+ cruises and this is my second time on MSC Divina. Both times I've attended have been via a charter with Holistic Holiday at Sea. I greatly enjoy the lectures and accessibility to everything Plant-based with these groups which is why I came back for the second year.
I greatly enjoyed the first year and considered making this a yearly event. However, I'm now on for the second time, and my experience has been beyond horrendous. Our room has absolutely no air circulation and is incredibly stuffy. Having asthma, it's been a brutal experience for me, but the air quality is so poor that even my non-asthmatic mother can barely breathe and is swollen up with terrible allergies. Both of us have been increasingly miserable with each night we spend in the room.
To make matters worse, I've been having so many asthma attacks that I haven't been able to make it to eat. The cruise line will not deliver the specialty vegan meals to the room. Considering we paid 1800 per person for the speciality meals with the charter, this is incredibly disappointing. The customer service, or lack there of, is disgraceful.
I would love to attend Holistic Holiday at Sea again but will not attend any future trips as long as they are hosted with the MSC lines. I highly advise against booking any vacations with this cruise line.
