Review summary

I recently cruised on the Monarch of the Seas from Los Angeles to Ensenada with five other women, one of whom is blind. The crew was really outstanding - very friendly and helpful. I have taken this cruise every January for the past several years because the price is so reasonable. The crew really went out of their way to assist our blind friend, from placing her hand on the water glass to escorting her from the dining room. The photographers were not overly pushy (as they are on other cruises), and it was a wonderful experience.

San Diego Zoo is wonderful, with an excellent panda exhibit.
Don't Miss: San Diego Zoo

Ensenada, Mexico

La Bufadora (the blowhole) is a must see. The outdoor market has some good bargains, but you have to barter to get them. The outdoor stand near the parking lot has the world's best Mango Margaritas
