Review summary

Check in was fast and efficent. We boarded at noon and were having lunch by 12:30pm. Our luggage was there when we went to our room by 2:00pm. Cabin space is cramped but managable. Bring a strip plug for all your chargers. The bed was small and they only give you one pillow. But who stays in their cabin for long? The entertainment was the same as all cruises. The sexy legs contest was fun. Getting on and off the ship was easy..just need your Seapass and a government Photo ID to get back on. A variety of excursions at each port are offered. We went on the San Diego Tour of the City. Our driver was Richard and he was very entertaining. We just walked around in Catalina. I fed the pigeons and strolled along the main drag. It is a quaint, touristy town. In Ensenada, we boarded a bus to the vineyards. Driving time was about 45 minutes and we were taken to 2 wineries. They were very clean facilities and the wine was very good. The food on the cruise was nicely presented. Some dishes were good and some were not. If I did not like my choice, the waiter would bring me something else. The servers were extremely nice. The midnight Chocolate Lover's Buffet and Ice Sculptures were nicely done. It was a nice vacation and very inexpensive. I enjoyed myself immensely since I did not have to cook, clean or do laundry. I paid a total of $211.00 for 5 Days/4 Night cruise plus $39.00 for tipping, $70.00 for 2 excursions and $48.00 for parking. In my book that is a bargain! I won't say how much I lost in the Casino. All I will say is that the machines are so tight they squeak. If you gamble...I recommend the tables. You must be out of your cabin by 8:00am the last morning. While having our breakfast in the dining room, our departure color was called. It took 10 minutes to get through customs and 5 more minutes to get to our car in the parking lot. A very smooth process.
