Very nice cruise

Sail Date: November 20, 2006

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

Very nice ship. A bit of a short-haul workhorse, but generally good.

Pros: Relaxing on the ship

Cons: Stopping all day in San Diego - would rather have been at sea

Recommends Monarch of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Ensenada, Mexico
Always a good experience to see how most of the world lives. Should have been two days there.

Catalina Island, California
Old, getting decrepit. Not terribly interesting. Would rather have had two days in Ensenada.

Waste of time
Don't Miss: Stay on the ship unless you've never been to a coastal city.
