Overall, really enjoyed our cruise and would sail on Marella Voyager again.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very smooth. Collected cruise cards at the dock and straight on board for a late lunch
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was good. The kitchens were busy and the menus didn't change each night so it was a bit samey. Really enjoyed vista and Nonna's. The one night we ate in the main dining room, we had to wait a while for each meal but the food was still good.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Plenty of activities going on and can chose to do as much or as little as you want.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The show cast are amazing! I don't know how they have the energy to do 2 shows a night.
The guest magician was good and the Paloma Faith tribute act was really good, she was so funny!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff are always friendly and smile and say hello.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship is easy to navigate around. A few areas of wear and tear. We had a sewage smell in our corridor on embarkation day but after that it didn't smell. There was a slight smell in the squid and anchor but it didn't deter people.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Stayed in canin 4161 which is at the aft of the ship. We could feel the vibration from the engines, but we soon got used to it. When we docked in Barcelona it got pretty loud in the cabin when we turned in and when we docked back at Palma.
Cabin was clean and a good size. Love having a window to look out of when arriving and leaving the ports.
Docked in Livorno and did an excursion to Florence, which has been on my bucket list. Florence is beautiful! We did an excursion called Florence on your own. Our guide on the coach was lovely with so much information and taught us how to properly pronounce some words in Italian.
We had about 5 hours on our own in Florence. My mum and I went to see the duomo, very crowded but easily found a cafe to have a drink and a snack with an amazing view.
We then walked up to piazelle Michaelangelo, the views of the city from up there are well worth the walk up!
Docked in Toulon, lovely views on sail in. Did an excursion to St Tropez. Beautiful little village with stunning views. Most of the shops were shut due to being the end of the season, but it was lovely to wander around and relax.
Tendered at Villefranche Sur Mer. Waited in the Broadway show lounge with a number for a tender boat after the people on an excursion left the ship.
Got a train to Nice, only 7 minutes! Walked down to the promenade and walked along enjoying the sunshine.
