Review summary

Great time. Good food. Enjoyed Havana area, never too busy here, so it's where I stayed. Did formal night, enjoyed cocktails after and walked on the decks. Enjoyed the 80s party-always amazing. Great food options! Loved trying as many free food options as we could! Would sail on MG again.

Great chicken sandwich. Ate here for lunch only.

Rudi's Seagrill

Delicious food and great service.

Cucina del Capitano

When we cruised they were rotating dining room options and this was complimentary. It was terrible, and we always enjoy the Italian restaurant on other Carnival ships. Hope they worked it out since then.

Havana Bar

5 out of 5

Stayed in Havana room, always stopped here for drinks. A bit slow on the inside but always Great drinks.

Havana Pool

Stayed here all of my cruise pretty much. The girls ventured out more. Never busy, pool is small compared to other Havana areas. Still worth it in my opinion.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Havana interior stateroom, can't recall cabin number. Quiet and comfortable.

Ship tip

Plenty of dining options! Even if you don't pay extra for specialty. Probably the best included dining of any ship in Carnivals fleet. Lobster night in MDR, Shaqs chicken, panini place, pizza, Blue Iguana, and street eats. Didn't even touch a buffet.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Wear your walking shoes. Hydrate, and sunscreen. Have a map. Interesting port with plenty to see if you want to visit the forts. Go enjoy some mofongo and a Pina Coloda for lunch.
