Review summary

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Being Platinum made it easy! We chose later time as the rest of family was not Platinum. We walked right on after verifying paperwork like usual. Craziness started at Center Stage deck 5 trying to get over to elevators so we could muster. Hubby was in power chair and SIL was in scooter. Elevators on this ship are the worst always…too small.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All food venues were good as usual. We will NEVER do Anytime Dining! Everyone congregated at the opening to the MDR as soon as they press the button thinking they will get in asap. It was such a mess and stressed us all out. It was so hard to navigate the crowds with family in scooter and power chair. Carnival needs to figure out a way that lets them know a passenger needs a table they can access when you request a table on their app. We have to fill out paperwork for an accessible cabin…that should be attached to the passenger’s folio number/account. Someone in their IT Department can add that to the software… Lines at Guys etc were long at times since we were at max capacity.

Onboard Activities

Pool decks were crowded

Entertainment

5 out of 5
What shows we saw were good as usual. Handicap seating in theater is at very front.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was great! Emmanuel was ours for two weeks and spoiled us. Lester was our room service person and he was awesome! His sweet smile every morning made my day.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
We didn’t have a hard time navigating the ship but the elevators are horrible…..just too small and hard to come by. The ship is showing wear and tear for sure. The Lido decking looks terrible and patched. Carpets in rooms looking worn. Bathrooms for the most part need more cleaning and attention.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Handicap accessible balcony with automatic sliding door. This is our 2nd time in this type of cabin. Lots of hanging and storage space. Bathroom has roll in shower with fold down seat. It is big and spacious. We did notice a sewer smell which happened during last sailing on her.

Disembarkation
