Review summary

We loved this cruise and loved the big ship. We liked the large ship so much we are looking at going on another Excel class ship with Carnival. There’s plenty to do and a lot to see.

The room was nice, but it seemed smaller than any other interior room we have had in the past.

Ship tip

Make sure if you want to go to something like the comedy club to arrive quiet a bit early as the line gets large and you may not have the opportunity to attend the event.

Disembarkation was not bad at all until we made it to outside the port in the parking garage. There was an old man, who worked for the port, causing issues. Our party got split up in customs because some had passports and others had birth certificates. As soon as I exited the building, I stopped at the parking garage at a fence to wait on the rest of my group, as anyone would do. Not thinking, if everyone stopped there it would create a cluster. This old port man came to me screaming that I needed to move around the corner and I did. He came back screaming at me and threatened to call local authorities on me for not listening. I done everything that he requested. I requested his supervisor and when he threatened me with law enforcement I requested them and he refused to get either one.
