Never ate at the MDR. Lido food was good but there were not enough options and food stations for this big ship! Definitely under staffed at the lido buffet.

I like Puerto Plata, but this time we were invited to an all inclusive at the Senator Resort with Carnival elite. I do not recommend this excursion. The food was amazing, but the resort Beach and pool bar. Not so nice. I mean it’s a beach and they separate you and squeeze you into a spot away from the regular resort guests so it’s a bit cramped. Lots of seaweed and under tow will sweep you out into the ocean if you’re not careful. Pool is dirty. Place is a bit run down.
