Review summary

If you like large ships, you'll love this one. Take advantage of the sea day brunches and don't expect too much from the specialty dining.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The embarkation was quick and the process was well organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Although the dining rooms and specialty restaurants were beautifully appointed, the food was disappointing, particularly the items created by Emeril. Most of the food was under seasoned and bland. The sea day brunch was the best meals.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Although everything was super crowded, the ship had a lot of things to do. We visited all the pools on the ship and participated in all the game shows. The hosts were funny and very entertaining.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The stage shows were underwhelming, the singing was good, but the costumes and choreography was lacking.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room steward Maha was phenomenal, he was there to assist in everyway possible.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Although the ship was large, the layout and design was optimal to accommodate many people. there were many little areas to congregate in large groups or private alcoves for single travelers.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was the typical balcony suite, but what made the room extraordinary was the size of the shower, it was huge for a cruise ship.

Ship tip

Don't expect too much when it comes to dining.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
The port is really convenient for getting in and out quickly.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
We had the most fun going to Ocean World, there was something for everyone to do!

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Although Grand Turk is a small island, the people are friendly and the beaches were phenomenal

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very proficient, I was in the last group and I got off the shop by 9

That's funny. Our shower on the Mardi gras was the smallest we've ever had. Ours was a balcony too. Guess it all depends on the cabin.
