Review summary

We have sailed on Carnival many times and this was one of our favorite as we love the Mardi Gras ship with the added food choices and the added shows with Center Stage.

We ate in the MDR every night and the food and service was an A+.

We didn’t use any of the activities.

Entertainment

The shows were back to the level we were used to seeing on Carnival as they had seemed to lose appeal on our previous few cruises. The comedians were very funny as we saw 5 different ones and enjoyed all but one.

Service and Staff

Our MDR wait staff did a very good job and our cabin steward did also.

This was our second cruise on the Mardi Gras and we love this ship. The design is great and it’s always clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was nice however the balcony was smaller than we remember them being before.

The food choices are better than on most of the other Carnival ships.
