We had a 1-1:30 embarkation. It was really busy but handled efficiently by all in the cruise terminal.

Food was good as we have grown to expect on Carnival. Not outstanding, but this is cruise ship food.

Mardi Gras Casino

Really liked the casino. Spent a lot of time there. There was a smoking and nonsmoking section and didn’t feel squished at the tables like on smaller ships.

The shows in the Grand Central were very good. All types of music playing in many areas.

Really large ship that took some getting accustomed to. By the end of the cruise we finally got to know our way around. Very clean and well maintained. Heck this ship has only been sailing for a little over a year.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was a handicapped accessible balcony cabin at the rear of the ship. Storage was a little tight which is normal for this type of cabin. Cabin was a little bigger than normal balcony and the bathroom was much larger. Steward kept cabin very clean.
