Review summary

Our trip was a much needed getaway, and we loved it

Embarkation

4 out of 5
This was our first cruise at platinum status, we got to check in 48 hours earlier, so we were onboard after suite guests. Suite guest had a lounge area to wait in to board, while diamond and platinum waited in the general area

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We were very disappointed in the food at Fahrenheit 555, steaks were of mediocre quality. Service was excellent though. Guy’s Burgers changed their fries to frozen ones 😡🤢 A perk on this cruise was if you had anytime dining, you could eat at some of the specialty restaurants for dinner anytime you choose, assigned times couldn’t book until sometime after 8.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Spent most of my time during the days in the Serenity area, pool was crowded, but could always cool off in a shower. Sailing with a lower passenger capacity allowed for a great selection of pool chairs. Was disappointed with Bolt, had a reservation on last sea day, first was cancelled because of wind, then rebooked for later, and waited for over 45 minutes, it was having technical difficulties, and I just asked the attendant for a refund.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Attended at least one R rated show each evening in the Punchliner Comedy Club. Amazing funny comedians. Running the same show multiple times kept the crowds down. Andy was a great host, and if you don’t like him, well you can just Bugger Off!! Also watched the juggling comedian, he was clean and hilarious

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were on it!! Loved our room steward Mackenzie, he was very attentive. The crew at Java Blue were quite the team, and have such fun personalities. Every crew member I spoke with was pleasant and friendly.

Ports of call

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Disembarkation

Quick and especially easy with a passport, not sure if you used a birth certificate how it went
