It was just okay

I am normally not one to write reviews, however here goes Our Cruise was rated as okay. The emabarkation and debarkation was handled quickly and eficientlty. Our room 3086 was small with a porthole window which was what expected but certainly acceptable. The housekeeper was friendly and efficient Dining room: Unfortunately our dining room experience which is normally a highlight of the trip was not. Wait staff Narby and Marlon were very good, efficient and did what they could to make it enjoyable. We had requested originally a table for 2 and RCL changed it to table for 6 which we then looked forward to meeting others. We were seated at a table for 8 by our selves. We spoke to Maitre'd about having others seated with us as the dining room was half full. We did invite Matt a young single guy to join us which he did. The last night we met a nice couple and suggested they join us and they were excited to do. She checked with their maitre 'd and was told you cannot change. We spoke to Guest services and his comment was same as ours... that's stupid. Had the feeling the staff did not have the authority to make the passengers really happy Food was acceptable but not great- the mile high meringue lemon pie was a little tart We knew it was an older ship ready for a refit which we fully accepted. Ships staff: had the feeling they were blowing there own horn so often someone was trying to pump up staff moral. Flag display of staff interesting and enjoyable. Next night big display of dining staff- okay Next night at theater paraded many of staff in now going overboard Next night at dinner same thing with dining room staff. way overboard The shows were good and enjoyable. Both in theatre and in the Spectrum. I hope that when it goes to dry dock they do some training on middle management on how to make passengers and happy so they will right a glowing review. The band in the Centrum was very enjoyable

Service from waiters and housekeeping was excellent. Rated 4 because of middle manage staff

Getting a little worn in some places but expected as it is going for a refit

Small but clean and acceptable

Excellent disembarkation and immediately picked up by Park N Cruise
