I have to say I am disappointed about the way Royal Caribbean handled the theft of money from my husbands suitcase. We dropped off our luggage curbside prior to the cruise and went onboard. The luggage was not delivered to our cabin until late that night (11 pm). We went into the Florida Keys the next day and opened a suitcase which had some cards we wanted to mail. The cards were opened and the money inside had been removed sometime between when we dropped off the luggage and when we arrived at Florida keys. The cards were ripped open. Yes, the money was minimal ($72). However, the way Royal Caribbean handled it was very disturbing. They never apologized never offered to replace the money, or even give us a credit on a future cruise. Nothing! If they had done that, our experience would be completely different and we would probably cruise again. Instead they asked us how much money we had in the safe !!!! What was that about none of their business! We have done two previous cruises with Royal Caribbean, but at this time, we will probably look at another cruise line when we wish to cruise again.
