Review summary

This was my first time cruising on Royal Caribbean after 19 cruises on Carnival. I’m not saying I’m going to stop cruising carnival but Royal Caribbean is the best between the two. The food is better, the entertainment is better, and the service is also better imo. I don’t have one complaint and not that I do with carnival but I am sold on Royal Caribbean. We were supper to go to the Bahamas but do to weather our itinerary was changed so we went to Labadee Haiti instead which is one of Royals private island. Great cruise and can’t wait until the next one in March on the Mardi for my birthday.

I know the feeling. Been on Carnival 15 times ,Royal once and Norwegian 3 times. Still love Carnival. But the shows and food is better on Royal and Norwegian. Sailing on Carnival Liberty July 7 2024 out of New Orleans.

They can't really be compared. Carnival is 3 star and Royal Caribbean is 4 star :-)

royal is why i will no longer sail royal. glad you had a great time, but it was awful for me. terrible service, terrible food, rude stuck up passengers.... never again
