Review summary

Liberty of the Seas is an amazing ship. It was perfect for our family and how we enjoy cruising. We have cruised on her 3 times and hate that she is leaving Galveston. We hope to fall in love with another amazing RCCL ship.

Embarkation was smoother at this time that it even was pre-pandemic.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

MDR menu could use a refresh. Actually enjoyed Windjammer more this cruise than prior 2 times. Room service was the best choice this cruise.

Onboard Activities

Onboard activities seem to still limited since the pandemic. Hot tub was OK except for ppl who allowed their children to use as swimming pools instead of just getting into the pool. The gym was great!

Entertainment

El Gaucho was good this time. It was good to see that he keeps his show fresh. I was not disappointed with seeing him this 2nd time. The pool side entertainment has been better. In the Air was the same show as previous 2 times on this ship. Didn't stay for the whole show.

Checked into AO but only used it once. It is not as appealing as it was prior to the pandemic.

Cabin / Stateroom

Great size. Great space. 3 tvs. Free room service. Sadly could feel all the vibrations of the ship. It was only nice in Port when we weren't moving. Black smoke bellowed on us one evening while we tried to enjoy room service on the balcony.

Disembarkation

Disembarkation is never fun!! Who wants to end vacation? The process is smooth with the facial recognition software now. Also, the process for Suite guest is sweet.

Thank you for the review. Galveston is getting the Allure. She's a beautiful ship - sailed her twice this year. Liberty is coming to my home port of Fort Lauderdale. Booked her for Feb 2023 🙂
