Review summary
RCCL is working very hard to keep COVID away. Consequently, the cruising experience isn't as pleasurable as before. Masks are required except in specific instances, interaction with people who are not part of your group is discouraged, # of people in the elevators is 5, there are fewer seats in the shows. We felt RCCL is really pushing people to buy drink packages, internet packages, paying to eat in specialty shops & restaurants. You don't even get bottled water when leaving the ship unless you've purchased a beverage package. Overall we had a good time, but won't cruise again until restrictions are lifted.Embarkation

Ship tip
If you haven't sailed since COVID, you'll find things different than before COVID. Instead of encouraging people to mingle, they want you to stay with your own group to avoid spreading germs. Seats in shows are limited. Just realize that things have changed and it's not as fun to cruise as prior to COVID.
