Review summary

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful wherever we were. We enjoyed the choices of dining. Disembarkation took a long time. There seemed to be some confusion. We had a transfer booked with Royal Caribbean. Transfer cruisers were told to meet at the theatre and wait until called. It was 11:00 am when we were led off the ship. Many were anxious to make their flight. We waited in the bus for more than one hour before we left for Houston. I am thinking the Port facility is not large enough to serve the 4500 leaving the ship, and the number of Self Assist passengers has grown so large it is time to handle this differently.

Ours was an interior cabin near the back of the ship on Deck 10. This was a great location with the Windjammer only one deck above, and main dining below on Deck 3. Also, the Viking Crown was at our end of ship. The cabin size was comfortable for my grown Grand daughter and me.

Ship tip

Food was outstanding. My Grand daughter is on a special diet, and her food was prepared for her and she loved it. We were on My Time dining, and no matter where we were seated the wait staff were eager to accommodate us. Their performance was outstanding. X
