Review summary

I love this itinerary. Cozumel is always fun, Grand Cayman is shopping paradise and Jamaica is a gem. The Liberty of the Seas was a nice ship, but I've decided I prefer a smaller, more intimate ship. I prefer fewer cruisers and I don't need things like an ice skating rink and the Flowrider. One thing I really liked about the ship was the promenade - it was nice having all the stores and services in one place. The ship was very easy to find my way around.

The food was unexceptional, at best. I like that there is still a lobster night in the dining room because some cruise lines don't do that anymore. The staff in the dining room was very friendly and service was good. The pizza at Sorrrentos left a lot to be desired. It reminded me of school cafeteria pizza.

The ship was very clean. The colors are a bit dated, but not a big deal. More public restrooms would have been nice. They were few and far between.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin and balcony were roomy. There were three of us so we had the king bed separated into two twins and one person slept on the fold out soda. There was plenty of room in the bathroom. The closet and drawers provided plenty of space for our clothes. The mattresses...hmmm...how to describe them? Torture devices? Yes. That works. They were so hard! My hips hurt after a night in bed.
