Review summary

In spite of it's large size, Liberty gave us the feel of a smaller ship.  We were able to meet the rest of our party easily.  We were pleased with MY Time Dining and the food served.  The Ice Show and the headline production of Saturday Night Fever were amazing and are a must see.

The cabin was small with practically no usable drawer space. The location was great, just around the corner from the main dining rooms, at dead end so there was no disturbances from people in the hall. The one disadvantage was that to get to the other end of the ship, it was necessary to go up to deck 4, cross and then down again to reach the Platinum Theater.

The Tropicana was our other possible choice. It looked real good too. There were soooo many little food places to choose from. The locals there don't have the luxury of cruise ships pulling up to their dock. They have to rely on people finding their lovely little town a bit outside of the port. They are so much nicer, genuine, prices, food, everything, fabulous. It's truly authentic. Don't skip it if you go to Costa Maya.

Good to know. We are doing My Time dining for the first time on an upcoming cruise on LOS and I was wondering if we were going to have to wait for available table for two.

The Tropicante is next to Krazy Lobster with great service and food. They all just want you to buy a drink or food while there. Steve at Tropicante will reserve a lounger or table if you contact him. Look on Trip advisor site for excellent reviews.

The Krazy Lobster has the best calamari for 6.00 and fresh amazing Pico. They'll sit you and serve you right on the beach.

Cool, thanks! We're going snorkeling in the morning, but we didn't have plans for the afternoon yet.

I did Honduras, Cozamel, and Costa Maya this last June. Oct 2nd Will be Cayman, Jamaica, Cozamel. I was there last July but any real recent schedule will be very helpful. It changes to accommodate the islands but the activities will be the same. That's what I'm interested in. That would be greatly appreciated if u kept ur Cruise Compass'. I'm curious if they start changing activities as it gets later in the season. When you get to Costa Maya, it's expensive but we took a taxi to Mahahual for 6.00 , 10 mins away, and it was beautiful!,,,everything was waaayyy cheaper , more laid back, and the food was amazing! My favorite port out of them all.

Marque, Are you doing the roatan route or the Cayman island route? I'll be on next week on the Roatan route. I'll take a picture of each day's compass if you're doing the same one.

pearlman,.....did you possibly keep your Cruise Compass daily schedules? The most recent schedule I can find is from July and I'm wondering how much it has changed since early June. I'm taking my Mom on her 1st cruise Oct 2nd and Id love to plan our activities by a recent schedule. There's so much going on that it helps knowing early what ur options are....."bingo or karaoke?"
