Review summary

This cruise was outstanding in every way. Encore was a spectacular ice show. Saturday Night Fever was an amazing evening of singing, dancing and acting. Both - a must see. Each was a little over an hour. Day excursions were fantastic. We booked 2 prior to the cruise and booked 2 while on the cruise. Our favorite was Tuscany and Rome. Make sure if you climb Mt.Vesuvius that you wear good tennis shoes and are able to climb.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dined at 6:30 p.m. Perfect for our schedule. Service and food were 5 star quality.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved the 2 shows we attended. The work-out gym overlooked the Med. and had a nice variety of equipment.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff member hunted down our luggage and assured us he would get it returned. The crew was friendly, competent, and professional.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was huge and only 5 years old. There were approx. 3500 passengers and 1500 crew, yet we never felt crowded. The decor on the promenade was elegant.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom was small but we were only in it to sleep and shower. Beds were firm; hair dryer in the room (nice) and we did NOT need a convertor for our hair straightener.

Pros: Friendly and efficient staff, excellent dinners in the dining room, excursions, weather, getting into our room by 1 p.m.

Cons: Airline lost one piece of luggage but RCCI tracked it down!
