Review summary

Holland America Line offers a fantastic vacation and cruising experience. The Pinnacle is with out a doubt the industry standard for its target audience. I believe Holland America also has the ability to create a new category of cruisers in their 20’s and 30’s that are looking for Splendor over Surfing, Rock and Roll over Rock Climbing, and finally and most importantly Grandiose over Gimmicky.

Lined up outside (no seating, signs, order) Only had one designated crew member to announce, check, and call designated check in times. Once inside the actual Port of Entry check in was smooth, easy, and plenty of staff to answer questions , and give further guidance.

Onboard Activities

Being in our mid 20s, and knowing Holland America Line has a reputation for having a lack of activities, we were pleasantly surprised at just how much there was to do. The Fitness center was immaculate and a must for anyone that is into fitness as much as I am, or for someone that is just beginning their fitness journey. Needless to say when it comes to the fitness center their is something for everyone. A highlight was learning and playing pickle ball with beautiful Cabo as the backdrop.

Cabin / Stateroom

Comfort, size, and cleanliness was all fantastic. Only complaint was a strange squeaky noise coming from a loose ceiling panel. It would be a bit annoying when sleeping.

Ship tip

Relax and enjoy. Holland America Line really created a new category in the cruising industry with the pinnacle class cruise ship. Its a class that keeps its previous cruiser happy, but also for the 20 and 30 something year olds that want top tier service , outstanding music, and a luxurious relaxation experience.
