Ship experiences
Food and Dining
The Iona has so much to offer regarding food and drink options. My favourite venues were The Quays (Fish ‘n’ Chips), The Olive Grove and Sindhu.
I was disappointed with the Epicurean. The food and the service in particular, was not up to scratch in there.

The production shows in the theatre were fantastic. Really enjoyed Festival. Very modern music etc
There were many other live musical acts around the ship.
Service and Staff
It was a mixed bag. Some were great, some were miserable.
Ship Quality
Brand new ship was spotlessly clean. On the whole, I love the design of the ship. The central atrium is beautiful, those massive walls of windows are amazing.
I also loved the wraparound promenade deck and the Skydome was also a fantastic structure.
Cabin / Stateroom
Loved the location, nearby to the Aft stairs and lifts. The best part was the extra deep balcony. The worst part was the bed. Very firm mattress and I didn’t have a good nights sleep!!
Ship tip
Try and get a balcony cabin on deck 10 aft. They have deeper balconies. Avoid any balcony on deck 8! There is no privacy whatsoever!

Fantastic disembarkation. We walked off with our luggage and were driving home before 7am!
