Iona Cruise Review
Review summary
Once the horror of boarding was over it was great. A fabulous ship with so many dining and entertainment options. We did a 7 day staycation cruise towards Spanish waters via the Channel Islands. Captain Camby was great fun as usual although Covid protocol meant we didn’t see him around ship as you normally would. Not bored for one minute. We used the cinema to fill in any gaps on the schedule seeing 3 bang up to date films. Entertainment 1st class. Headliners, speakers, bands, comedians, vocalist etc. Food amazing although missing the every day basic options in the MDR. No Ariel performance due to injury which was a shame. We followed the sun so good weather and calm seas.Embarkation

Ship tip
Log on to the ‘app’ as soon as possible and book your entertainment. Details are in your cabin. We were among the later boarders and still easily managed to book everything we wanted and more within minutes. Don’t leave it, you snooze you loose.
