Review summary

What a phenomenal experience. Not a dull moment. I will book this ship again. This was the best cruise, yet.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It took 7 minutes to get on the ship. The process was fast and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
This was the first time we dined at the MDR 5 out of 7 days. The menu was great and the food delicious. If you can cough up $200.-/ pp, don’t miss out on the Empire Supper Club. It was the best experience with exquisite food and a marvelous ambience. The Windjammer had an abundance of choices, even half lobster tails on the first day.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There are so many options to choose from that boredom is never present. The highlight were the water slides and the Crowns Edge. It provides the little butterfly- in- your- stomach feeling wanting more of it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
It’s hard to pick a favorite performance since all were unique and spectacular. The shows are second to none wanting you to see more of it every time.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We did not have kids with us but walked through the kids clubs since we are expecting. It is extremely clean and safe for kids and teens to play and enjoy themselves. A large variety of activities are offered to keep every kid and teen excited.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were equally friendly and provided excellent service. They are all working hard to get a high rating which yields them an off day.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship has been in service for about 3 months now. Everything is kept clean, however it’s sad that the light furnishings won’t hold up long. There are already stains of coffee, chocolate, etc on seating in the Pearl Cafe. The staff tries to keep up with everything, but some stains are hard to remove. The layout is phenomenal since it feels never crowded and the design is strikingly beautiful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was pleasantly impressed. I believe this backwards facing room was the best I ever chose. The balcony was extremely large, the room good sized with tons of storage as well as plenty of outlets. Most impressed I was with the bathroom. The new pivoting shower door design and the angular orientation of the shower yielded an ample amount of space not having an airplane bathroom experience.

Ship tip

Book your shows early. All were sold out on day 2. If you enjoy the ships water slides take water shoes with you. At mid day the sun will burn your feet on the stairs up the tower.
