Review summary

I was very disappointed when we got on the ship because when I booked with Richie he told me our room would have two windows in it. Our room had a small port hole. I called him before we left port and after two hours he never returned my call. Then at dinner we found out that we were not seated with our four friends who also booked on the trip. Richie told me to tell them to tell him they were sailing with me so we could have dinner at the same table. They did what they were told but he didn't. Therefore their table was full and we weren't able to be seated with them at anyy time for dinners. Then worst of all when I got an e-mail asking how we liked the trip and to respond it said the page was not available. Also the excursion information on web site was not accurate and when you actually talked to Carnival they were different!! I was not impressed with web site because it told you to book excursions and then when I called they said oh it must not be up do date, call Carnival. This is inexcusable! Also Richie seemed so genuine and ready to help but everything he told us was untrue. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH TOALLY! WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THEM AGAIN.

I felt the food was good and normal and plentiful. There was nothing different or exceptional. I think a special something that is out of the ordinary would have been great for a surprise.

Activities were good and the Holiday dancers were excellent. Loved the shows. The casino was larger than the one on a larger ship we had taken a year ago!

Service and Staff

Everyone working there seemed to have a great attitude and I loved the singing that the waiters did at dinner. Our shy waiter turned out to be quite a stage ham! The people cleaning were always friendly and helpful and even went and got our room steward to bring us beach towels immediately when I asked. I sure wasn't expecting that. It was great!

Ship Quality

Even though our experience with was horrible the ship was a pleasant surprise. It had truly been refurbished and on the inside looked practically new. The service was great the decor was cute and our room was kept very clean. Because of the small size everything was very accessible however I am not sure that the small size in rough waters was advantageous because so many people (my husband and I excluded) got sick.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was clean. It loved the soap and shampoo in the shower although I used my own most of the time. The bowl of toiletries was a great idea, especially if you forgot something. The location wasn't bad but as I said before it was a small ship and more accessible to the "busy" part of the ship because of same.

The sail and snorkel beach part excursion was fun but I thought the crew were a little to into some of the girls on the boat. They also pushed too much alcohol and worst of all on those who were already struggling to walk. Shoping was good though

Pros: Small ship less walking.

Cons: Weather not great.
