Review summary

The ship is one of the oldest Carnival vessels, but was vey well-maintained and offered a warm and friendly environment. During dinner seating, our waitress was splendid. You can not ask to be pampered any more than we were. The food is of course 5 star and nothing but the best. Our room attendant cleaned every morning and evening with fresh sheets and towels.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
You could not ask for anything more. The food was simply delicious and service was equally great.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Average activities. Simply because events were limited and caused over-crowding. Occurring too late in the evening to enjoy, because of children.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
I believe Camp Carnvial could have provided more group and age appropriate activities for children during the entire cruise.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The employees aboard Carnival Holdiay made it a pleasure to cruise with them. Everyone was nice and welcoming.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was nice in size and well-maintained in good condition.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Traveling with a family of four, our room was a little tight. But for the most part we made it work.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

The beach. I didn't like the time span in which we stayed. Eight hours is not enough time to really sightsee and visit.

Pros: The dinner and room service was great!

Cons: The limited number of events causing over-crowded areas.
