Review summary

Two exceptional people made our cruise experience. Dexter (stateroom attendant) and Raphael (Server in Sabor). Both provided the service that we have grown accustom to on other cruise lines. Both were awesome. The harmony of the seas is an amazing ship with amazing amenities. Our issue was that we felt they were always closed. Slides, rock climbing, flo roder, abyss, zip line, ice skating only has select hours, so when they were open, the lines were so long. We stayed on the ship in Jamaica purposely to experience the different amenities but all were closed until 3:30 which defeated the purpose of staying on the ship. It would seem logical to try to keep 5,000 plus guests occupied by keeping these open. Show production was very cheesy and sometimes felt non-rehearsed. Grease was way too long. The acapela group was outstanding as well as the House band in Dazzles. 2 of our favorite things we did. Kids club is a joke. Separating children into groups and not allowing them to switch to be with family was frustrating. Activities for kids did not allow for them to want to go back. Charging after 10:00 pm is ridiculous considering that is the time most kids would use it due to their parents wanting to experience other lounges etc. Food in all complementary areas was mediocre, edible but not exceptional. Speciality dining rooms had great food but frustrating having to pay extra to get exceptional food. Guest services was friendly but we had to keep a close eye on our account and had to wait in lines 6 times to fix mistakes that were created by crew members Mis charging our account. Overall had a good time. But we probably wouldnt choose RC again as our cruise line due to the above reasons.
