Review summary

Kind of like a Love Boat episode. Nice retro vibe. Smaller, Older ship rocks more in stormy seas. The main dining service was great. I’ve had better windjammer on other RC ships (Independence.) Loved the service in cabins, restaurants and bars, and in the shops was wonderful too. If you want a low-key, inexpensive ship to enjoy the trip and the ocean not so much be entertained every 5 minutes, this would be your jam.

Windjammer Marketplace

3 out of 5

This ship’s Windjammer was smaller with less selection and more people than other RC ships. The WJ food was not as good as I’ve experienced other ships. Try main dining or cafe promenade.

We had a window cabin deck 3. Window surprisingly large and nice to see out of, the cabin was spacious and clean. Rough weather meant the waves came up nearly to our window though. Cool or terrifying depending on your politic.

Ship tip

Good if you enjoy the classic experience of an older ship. Calm and enjoyable cruise for peace and quiet ( in nice weather. October we had rough seas on the way back.)
