Review summary

I like the cruise I had never to been to 'Haiti'. Key West is always a fun place to visit. The private island in Haiti is nothing more than an overpriced resort with private cabanas costing up to $600/pp for the day. They did have some local vendors selling souvenirs and such, but they were too pushy for me so we left that area. They had a barbecue lunch for guests, but I didn't eat there as there were flies all over the food. Don't expect to see 'Haiti' (its a private land for RC), but the beaches are nice and it was a great spot to relax for the day.

Food was OK, wish they would have changed up the menu a bit in the main dining room...served almost the same things everyday

Shows were good, and most of the entertainment was ok. The Caribbean band was rubbish...no energy, boring

Really liked the layout of the ship; easy to get around. The ship itself really need some serious maintenance..nothing but a rust bucket. Everywhere you look you could tell how old the ship is.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Again concern about rust around windows inside and out

Ship tip

If you don't mind the rust bucket, its not a bad ship...I personally will not sail on this ship again unless some upgrade is done

First cruise for my 60th birthday! Had a very good time. As a first timer it was a bit overwhelming at times especially with my first experience of being seasick. However I was totally prepared, slapped on a patch and pressed on.
